I like the New Year holidays and the way they are presented in Supercell games. This time, the New Year's update in Clash Royale changes all traditions. Also, the Brawl Stars game has a strong influence on the updated content. Thus, saturation with new content simply covers all conceivable and unimaginable fantasies. Who would have thought that unit skins would appear in Clash Royale? I didn’t even dream of this, but now it will become a reality. There will be a new "Heist" mode, the same as in Brawl Stars, you need to win the chest. And that's not all, it will be possible to buy emoji for crystals. The final list will be very long, but at the moment we will publish only 50% of it.

- Once you reach king level 13, you will receive star points from each card donation or upgrade;

Nickname change for crystals
In Clash Royale, the function of changing the name for crystals will come. Crystals will become a very important currency that will allow you to buy the best content.
Multiply tokens in Clash Royale by 2
The probability of getting tokens will be doubled. Did the developers seriously think about the critical state of the cards. Since an ordinary player who has been in the royal for more than 2 years does not yet have 8 pumped cards. This is a complete stopper that slows down the game and allows you to lose fans.

New mode Heist / Robbery (1 on 1)
Also in Clash Royale there will be a new mode, which was copied from Brawl Stars. No wonder, but I have already mentioned the new game more than once. The mode is really gambling and its appearance in the piano is not surprising. The strangest thing is that it will only be available in 1v1 mode. Although in the next game, it is only 3v3. In it you need to break a box that has a certain number of lives.
Two new cards
These will be 2 legendary cards, maybe later they will appear on private servers.

The main events of the end of 2018 will be the Star Card Tiers, through which you can get character skins. Let's discuss everything in order.
Get Clash Royale Skins
The main event of the December update was, of course, the skins in Clash Royale. Now everyone will have the opportunity, after reaching the 13th level of cards, to upgrade Star Levels for Star Points. Confused? Look, now all players will be able to continue pumping them for an additional 3 levels after fully pumping cards. These levels will not affect health or damage dealt. They will allow you to get unusual skins in the game for the map itself and for the character. In order to level up, you will need to donate cards to colleagues from the clan, for this they will give points, upon reaching which it will be possible to increase the level and receive a new skin. Not everyone will have such an opportunity, but only those players who were able to upgrade the tower of the king to the 13th level. The meaning of pumping, which had already been lost, was returned to the game. The advantage to this will be the ability to request cards more often, although it is not yet clear for what merit or price in gems.
Name change for gems
Supercell followed in the footsteps of Clash of Clans and introduced the ability to change the nickname in the game for gems, but now there is only the possibility of a one-time change. Nice bonus.

Clash Royale - tournament system
The tournament system, which has been requested for years by the developers of the game, will finally appear. SuperCell sat down and thought and made a variant of the first tournament. It will start immediately after the update, which should already appear soon. What awaits us:
- Leaderboard
- For each victory, a prize will be unlocked and issued immediately - a victory is a step up the table
- At the end of the tournament, additional prizes will be given out - it will be possible to unlock them for gems
- Tournament leaders will be given bonus prizes - you can get it only in this tournament
Additional changes
- In Clan Wars, in addition to gold and tokens, there will be an opportunity to get gems, the chance of dropping tokens has been increased by more than 2 times
- New clan search system - now you can better choose a clan for yourself
- The "Continue" button will appear in the events - an analogue of saving, i.e. re-participation starts from the place where you dropped out. This will give you a greater chance of winning all battles and unlocking all rewards.

We are just waiting for a super update, this has not happened for a long time, a lot of innovations, the players reach back. The developers began to listen when they saw the outflow of gamers from Clash Royale.
With the update, a new version of the game client arrived in time for us, at the moment the Clash Royale update has reached version 1.8.0. Here we will publish the version for Android devices, if you have problems with Google Play, then you can install the new version bypassing the store.
Over the past few days, I managed to write a large number of posts that are dedicated to updating Clash Royale. The second part covers the December update of Clash Royale. This time we will talk about what the community of players has been asking for a long time - new tournament systems. The developers say from the very beginning - “Since the time of the dinosaurs, you have asked us to update our tournament systems and take them to the next level. We've gone back to the drawing board and made tournaments bigger, better and more competitive than ever."
Tournaments will now have a new reward system. You win more tournament games, then unlock rewards become available to you. Each time you win a tournament game, you move towards a new reward. These are free rewards that you get right away, and when the tournament is over, you can unlock all bonus rewards for gems. But that's not all. The top finalists on the leaderboard will receive an exclusive reward that you can only get in this tournament system. So you can win as much as you can, set a new record, compete with the best players in the world and get the rewards that SuperCell has prepared.
New tournaments will be global. This means that every Clash Royale player can jump to a different tournament.
